Suigei “Tokubetsu Junmai” Reviews

This is a smooth, clear sake with a sweetness akin of a nigori style sake. This is the type of sake you chill which brings out the sweetness more. I love this sake. Definitely one of my new favorites.

For the price this is actually on of my favorite sakes to drink as a regular drink. Complex and bold, yet clean drinking, it is a great sake! Also I love the whale.

Great flavor profile in my opinion versatile and can pair with just about any dinner, as long as it's not a light dinner and is more of a heavier dinner I loved this with steak, salmon, pasta, and other seafood

Exceptionally crisp and refreshing. Bit of an umami aftertaste that is very pleasant. I'm very fond of this one, and glad it was the first I tried.

Very versatile sake. Has a subtle dryness and really light and slightly herbal umami aftertaste. I paired it with roasted garlic edamame but can see it also pairing well with cured meat or an earthy based dish such as mushrooms and sage. Enjoyed it best at room temperature where it picked up a very smooth texture.
