Inexpensive doesn’t necessarily mean “cheap” or “substandard quality.” For the price ($20) this is a good value. It has a very refreshing taste. Serve it chilled and enjoy with salads and sushi. Or just make your evening special by sipping it with friends glass after glass. Sets the tone at any party. Easy on the wallet too.

Aromas of sweet white fruit and fluffy white rice. Medium bodied with a semi sweet rice note and a clean finish. Complex for the price. Love the rice forward nature.

A great sake, especially for the price. Equally tasty served hot or chilled - its rich and dry, with a delicate rice-y finish on the palate.

Sawanotsuru “Jitsuraku” is affordably priced for the budget sake drinker. However, one is not sacrificing quality nor taste. It is a straightforward relatively dry brew. This makes is a classic sake when enjoying sushi. It compliments the dishes; it is not in competition with them. Because t is not “out there” on the fringes of flavored neither earthy nor sweet it is a nice, approachable sake to drink with friends glass after glass. I recommend that you serve it chilled in beautiful, functional shuki 酒器 (ceramic sake vessels). It is also delightful as it warms to room temperature. Enjoy the subtle differences.

Tried it at both of the recommended temperatures and it was interesting to experience the nuances of this sake. It has a more robust flavor, not one of my favorites but I would drink it again if I had a bottle laying around.

This is definitely one of the more interesting ones I've had. It had a bit more body than what I'm used to in a sake but it worked really well with it's nutty and earthy notes to create a good experience.
