Linebacker Squat Landmine Attachment Reviews

4.3 Rating 66 Reviews
Read Titan Fitness Reviews

This Landmine attachment is ideal for squatting without the fear of balancing a bar on your shoulders. The 7" to 11" squat pads provide a firm and stable feel while performing squats and deadlifts. The rotating handles have a spread of 19" and allow many types of pulling, pushing, and rotational exercises while keeping the wrists in a safe, neutral position. Installation is seamless, slide and tighten over your Olympic barbell, load up on your choice of Olympic bumper plates, and start pushing your workout to the next level. Bolster your strength-training routine by adding linebacker squats, v-style squats, hack squats, overhead presses, and more!
NOTE: Titan recommends resting the product on the ground to load plates before pairing with the landmine stand. This will prevent spinning during the plate-loading process.

I have wanted one of these since I first seen the Version 1 but it has been listed as out of stock for a long time. When I seen that they made another version I quickly bought it. Was shipped fast and got to my door within 2 days. Packaging was very good and was easy to put together. I do have the landmine stand that the one reviewer was talking about and that is definitely a helpful add on but I found that it did not stop the spin on the bar when trying to add weights on the side posts. If you have someone with you adding the weights at the same time it should balance out but if you are by yourself it spins. Although I have only used it once I will update my review if I figure out a way of loading up the side weight pegs so the attachment does not spin. Loading them on the ground would work just fine but as the last reviewer said that would limit what you would be able to load and pick up to put on the stand as you could squat more than you could pick up. I was able to put 4 45's on the actual bar and then put the attachment on after that and it worked fine. Will definitely want to figure out how to add the weights to the side pegs and update in the future. One gripe I do have is the side weight pegs do not fit collars well. I have several spring loaded collars that are to big but fit fine on my bars, and clip collars are also to big. One collar set I do have fit on there but isn't as snug as it usually would fit. So keep that in mine the pegs are smaller than a normal 2" bar so you may have to get a set of collars that fit. But for me I have a set that works so it isn't a big enough deal to take it down to 4 stars. The Pads are a little farther apart than I figured they would be so they sit on the outside of my shoulders but it is still usable and functional just not as close as I figured they would be. I love the handles for push presses and viking presses. Overall for the money you can't beat this product. Definitely gives me a lot of options for my home gym and gives me another leg movement to add on as an accessory to Squats/Front Squats.

I was waiting on version 2 of this to come out since the first appeared to have awful pad spacing. The added weight posts are also a huge addition for this, especially since there is no extra cost for them. I had a few points from previous purchases so this was to my door in 2 days for around $100.. You cannot beat that price. 5 stars for the price alone, packaging was great, assembly was fairly easy. One issue I did have was the bolt on one of my handles was a bit too big to fit through the bronze bushings.. Very tight fit, but I did get it to go through with a couple hits from a hammer so I'm not docking a star for that. I haven't loaded it up with super heavy weight or anything yet, but first impression is it seems to work as it should. The cost on this alone makes it a must buy for anyone interested in an item like this. I know there are competitors that with tax and shipping end up running 7 times the cost of this.
