After assembly, the functional trainer has been a staple in my workouts in the home gym. I havent had a single issue since correcting the one misstep of running the cable. Assembly took a bit and snaking the cable through missed the reel and caused a grind. Definitely higher in the difficulty for assembly but absolutely love the end product. Perfect for the home gym

I cannot say enough good things about this machine. It exceeded our expectations. One person can put this together, but strongly recommend two, especially for the cable assembly (per the hubs and he is super handy). We love this cable machine. It’s very durable. We haven’t had any issue with the cables sliding off track whatsoever. We bought a few extra attachments, but it comes with plenty to get you going. Our garage ceiling is little low, however there is plenty of room for pull ups. The only thing I am trying to figure out is a way to attach something to hold me in place for pulldowns. I plan to loop a strap through some dumbbells for now. I am confident the hubs will create a more permanent solution. Overall, great cable machine and has the full capabilities of any box gym cable machine. I would purchase again.

I am very happy with my purchase. It is very high quality and the cables are very smooth. I like that it has multiple cables to choose from, a high cable, a low cable and then two adjustable cables. Makes doing my workout very easy. I pretty much put it together myself, did need someone to hold a couple pieces, but for the most part the instructions were clear and easy to follow. The only tricky part was routing the cable, but if you follow the arrows and put the pulleys in hand tight, it makes it much easier. I would highly recommend this.

Awesome machine! For the price, it’s hard to beat. Footprint is larger than I expected, but otherwise, it’s great!

Pros: 1. Amazing value. I bought it when Titan was having one of their "Flash Deals" for only $999.95. 2. Better overall quality than I expected. Smooth, quiet, strong and stable - even when not bolted down. I thought I would wind up upgrading to aluminum pulleys from Amazon or EBay, but not necessary. The included pulleys (all 31 of them) work just fine. 3. The attachments are the bare minimum necessary but are fine at this price point. I purchased some additional attachments for it on Amazon. Even if it came with no attachments, it would still be a great buy. Cons: The build was more difficult than it should have been. The instructional manual (downloaded from the website) is weak on the pulley and cable installation. If you look at the supplied diagrams closely, you can figure it out - eventually. It was a lot easier to resort to a third-party YouTube video that showed exactly how to route the cables. Titan should produce their own video on assembly. Overall: I LOVE this Titan product. I have a Titan squat rack, five other Titan machines, and several other Titan accessory products. IMHO, this is the BEST VALUE (bang for the buck) of all of them. With the Lat Pull-Down, Pull-Up bar and Low-Row functionality built-in, unless you insist on the convenience of a selectorized (plate stack) model, this is a great way to go.

The machine came with a manufacturing defect and after almost a month, Titan Fitness hasn’t told me what they are going to do to correct the issue. At first they offered me a 5% discount so I could have a piece “fabricated”. When I didn’t take that, they offered me a 10% discount. All I want is for the issue to be resolved. The functional trainer looks like it would be great if it weren’t for the defect but for now, I have a $1300 paperweight taking up space in my gym.

Well built machine. Not like your typical cheap cable machines with many pulleys that twist and get tangled. My only concern which is minimal is the machine will buck a little if you don't have weight on the plate posts. You can easily get rid of that problem by bolting it to the ground.
