The new Open trap bar is an excellent addition to my arsenal of equipment, The flexibility it offers to add lunges, split squats, and farmer walks to my routine ie priceless. The benefit of being able to plate load safely and easily is an awesome feature as well.

Kick ass bar! Handles are well knurled for superior grip. Plenty of space within for movement. Open back design is a must these days and it works perfectly. The feet make it super easy to load and unload. Very convenient that it is rackable. Just walk in and do your shrugs. Price is way better compared to similar bars. Totally recommend !!

I was pretty quick to order this item when I saw it. Had been looking for awhile and my previous experience with Titan products gave me confidence and preparation for the quality of the bar and what I may or may not need to finish assembly. The bar is solid. Knurling is deeper than I like but better than nothing. It’s easy to load and use and I love the design. Bands are easy to attach as well and they don’t co-mingle with the loaded plates. The problem with any Titan product is they’re just not consistent with providing all parts/hardware necessary to assemble. I’ve ordered many things from them in the past year and it seems like it’s always something. I expected that going into this and about $10 in hardware later, it’s assembled and working just fine. The fix was so easy it wasn’t worth dealing with customer service to resolve. I guess my basic point is this is a great product but when you buy from Titan, go into it knowing you may need to resolve minor issues yourself or with customer service (which I may add is pretty helpful).

The open design is great for allowing more exercise options. The only drawback is very sharp knurling complaints by the people that have tried the bar.
