The Open Trap Bar, created to reduce stress on the spine, is constructed for training a variety of exercises, including lunges, shrugs, and carries. This open-ended frame, crafted as a fully versatile trap bar, features fixed dual knurled handles, a built-in loading jack, elevated weight sleeves, and the ability to be racked on most standard-size power racks. The neutral center-aligned skinny and fat grips are textured with a medium diamond knurl to help you securely hold the bar. Made to support a weight capacity of up to 1,500 LB, this open bar allows for a versatile range of movements such as split squats, farmers carry, walking lunges, and more, while also allowing you to perform the staples of trap bar exercises.

I was pretty quick to order this item when I saw it. Had been looking for awhile and my previous experience with Titan products gave me confidence and preparation for the quality of the bar and what I may or may not need to finish assembly. The bar is solid. Knurling is deeper than I like but better than nothing. It’s easy to load and use and I love the design. Bands are easy to attach as well and they don’t co-mingle with the loaded plates. The problem with any Titan product is they’re just not consistent with providing all parts/hardware necessary to assemble. I’ve ordered many things from them in the past year and it seems like it’s always something. I expected that going into this and about $10 in hardware later, it’s assembled and working just fine. The fix was so easy it wasn’t worth dealing with customer service to resolve. I guess my basic point is this is a great product but when you buy from Titan, go into it knowing you may need to resolve minor issues yourself or with customer service (which I may add is pretty helpful).

The open design is great for allowing more exercise options. The only drawback is very sharp knurling complaints by the people that have tried the bar.
