These replaced very old Telefunkens that still test good in an Atma-Sphere preamp. A little smoother, slightly lower noise floor, a bit more resolution. Very impressed with the improvement considering how good the Telefunkens are!

This was only the second time I've tube rolled going from a stock tube in my Vincent Pho 701 to a PSVANE and now to a Brimar. I have about 50 or so hours on it currently. There was an immediate shift in phonics, the detail in the air was spacious and precise, the mids, with both male and female vocals becoming silky and smooth. The bass is presented in a manner that is tute and detailed. If you cant hear the difference after putting in this tube .. go find a new hobby. If you can... get one, you'll be looking at it on your equipment thanking it every time the stage is set, the intro begins and the music fills the soundstage.

The Brimar 12au7 is everything Kevin said in his YouTube video. Smooth and luscious in the midrange with tight bottoms and excellent highs. I am using these in a Rogue Audio RP-1, and glad I have them. I think the Brimars are inline with the NOS Mullards, if not better...
