“I recently installed a matched pair of Gold Lion KT77 / EL34 Yes Cryo power tubes in my Auris Nirvana VI, along with swapping back to my favorite Gold Lion ECC82 / B749 / 12AU7 Kevin’s Stash driver. These KT77s are outstanding. They deliver tighter, faster bass, improved transient snap, and better overall clarity and dynamics compared to my previous Gold Lion KT66s, while still retaining the musical warmth and richness I love from the Nirvana VI. The soundstage opened up nicely and the black silence I’ve worked so hard to achieve remains absolutely dead quiet. After ~45 hours of gentle burn-in, the tubes are sounding excellent and continue to improve. This combination (KT77 power tubes + Gold Lion ECC82 driver) is now my favorite setup in the Nirvana VI. Kevin and the team at Upscale always deliver great tubes and great service. Highly recommended!”

“Really nice tube. Took 250 hours before it really opened up. Has the sound stage and fullness of the KT66 but with much better treble extension. This brings out the details and slam, which makes it a great tube for classical and rock. Voices project forward and are rounded and detailed, with good presence. It’s a welcome addition to my tube collection and brings something different and nice to the table.”

“These are okay. I bought them hoping and wishing however I am dissatisfied. I used in. Rogue Cronos Magnum III replacing a set of Tung Sol KT120s (which are hard to get due to the war). I was okay with less power as my Aria 948s are very efficient. But this is a step backwards for sure. The roll off I expected is there but not in a good way as I had hoped. If anyone wants a cryo set of KT77s let me know.”
