“These are the best tubes in the EL34 family that I tried in my Primaluna Dialogue HP and I am not looking back. I tried the new EL34 Mullard for 350 hours and though they were better that the Primaluna stock, don't even come close to these KT77s. In the published specs the distortion is half of all the other EL34s, and in my system they run slightly cooler despite being biased at the same voltage and the background noise is imperceptible. The overall perception is of much better QC and build quality. Most importantly they sound exceptionally musical, detailed and balanced.”

“This is revised review. I continued to like the midrange openness, but started to miss bass and height in soundstage. The bass just lacked gravity, weight, and authority. Also, one tube died after short period.”
