“They perform exceptionally well and deliver the fidelity I was hoping to hear out of my preamp. Nice to hear the lower frequency tones along with with a balanced mid and high range.”

“I have considerable experience with British manufactured Gold Lion KT88s. I have been running 2 sets of quads in my refurbished, 56 year old MC275 for the past 20 years. Bought these Russian versions to preserve what's left of the original Gold Lions (Macs are very gentle on tubes.) These new KT88s do not sound the same as the originals but they are close. They are very good and a great value for their price. They are the best of the current alternatives in my amp and I've bought and tried Svetlana 8550cs, Penta branded blue bottle KT88s, Ei KT 90s and 120s. I've never had an issue with anything I've purchased from Upscale. Their merchandise arrives on time, is as advertised and works.”

“I needed a matched quad of these because my Icon Stereo 25 has only one adjustment pot for al four tubes. The specification is for eight volts at each tube. All four tubes measured within 0.05 volts of specification! Amazing, and they sound great!”
