“Having used a steamer and Nitty Gritty machine to clean records for years, I assumed my records were clean. Interestingly the first lp that I cleaned was a great sounding no noise record. After cleaning with the Kirmuss Audio Ultrasonic Record Cleaner it was like a heavy curtain had been pulled away. Not only did the musicians sound more there, but the noise floor was also lowered. Interesting that the volume of the music was around 3db louder. After cleaning a couple of hundred records the unit consistently increases volume from 1db to 3db, lowers the noise floor, and opens the sound stage. The least expensive dramatic improvement you can make if you play records.”

“I received this as a gift from my lovely bride. It is a fantastic unit... especially in the Upscale Audio configuration allowing three 12" records at one time... thank you Kevin!! To be clear, this is not a simple dunk in a water tank but neither are the results. It requires more time and work than simply spinning your records in distilled water. However, the results are simply amazing. Obviously, no two pieces of vinyl will behave the same or generate the same results as prior care and materials can vary greatly. However, so far I have experienced a rather startling and substantial difference in the sound of many of my records. Keep in mind that these are records that have always been extremely well cared for and handled with kid gloves. The Kirmuss restoration process really opens up the sonics and reduces the sound floor in many, many cases. However, if you have a junk record do not expect miracles. It will certainly clean them well, but it will not fix physical flaws to the vinyl surface. The kit is very complete and includes everything you will need short of water and alcohol. My one and only rub with the system is the cleaning/surfactant solution. It works well and as advertised. However, the high price simply makes it a poor value proposition for what it is (99% distilled water). I am very much looking forward to either a reduced price or another alternate surfactant...Charles Kirmuss really needs to rethink this. Thank you to Upscale Audio for always providing above and beyond service!”

“It takes some effort to get an older dirty record clean but it's worth the effort! They come out pristine and quiet. I highly recommend this system.”

“Ultrasonic cleaning lives up to all the hype. Has brought out detail and space in my original analogue recordings that I've only read about and made many that I didn't want to hear all the crackle totally engaging like never before. Make sure you get extra brushes, cloths and liquid cleaner. Going to go looking for more "old" records to buy. Upscale Audio has always been knowledgeable, great to deal with and very competitive on performance and price.”
