I have run 3 batches of roughly 20 records through my Kirmuss record reconditioner. It does a very good job but takes 4-7 cycles through to get the desired results. It is thus labor intensive. The Upscale 3 LP motorized top is a must allowing me to process 3 at a time rather than 2. It will not repair physical damage like a scratch and my experience is that it improves but does not eliminate pops and cracks. the big gain in using this machine is the improvement in detail and dynamics in the record. Brings out details in the music that were not heard prior to using. If I have a complaint it is with the accessories. You get a 2oz spray bottle of the surfactant that is enough for 2 batches of 20 records. A refill is available for $85 for a 10 oz bottle! I will not be buying that as the price is ridiculous. I have made my own surfactant spray that works gust as well. Likewise the velvet/carbon fiber brush is poorly made and falls apart. The “opticians cloth” is small 6x9 - should be bigger or multiples. The “rabbit cloth” is fine but gets wet fast so would be good to have several so you could be drying one while using one. All in all I am pleased with the results and have developed my own system to clean and recondition records with the Kirmuss including putting a sticker on the record cover with month and year so I know which of my records have been cleaned and when. I think the price for the machine is fair, I only wish they included more of the accessories rather than selling them at inflated prices. “

I've had my machine for 2 months and have treated quite a few records a;ready. The difference is amazing. The machine itself is well built and sturdy. It is not loud. The process to restore an album can be time consuming but variable upon condition of the albums, but the results will leave you in amazement. As I am writing this review, I am listening to an original 1964 pressing of A Hard Day's Night on UA that I received yesterday. I played it once before treating it and now again after and the difference is night and day. Considering the age of the record and the visible marks on it, the records is now as close to pristine as it can get. This machine works. Yes, it does take elbow grease and time but it works. I couldn't be happier. And the guys at Upscale are great, too!

The Upscale Audio edition of the Kirmuss Cleaner is a nice improvement. I have cleaned about 10 records so far and the sound improvement on some of these old LP's in my collection is dramatic. It takes some work to go through all of the cleaning steps but it probably is the best way to go about restoring these old records to make them listenable again. Don't use the old record sleeves, make sure you buy new anti-stat sleeves and new covers if you are going this far to save your collection.

Works above expectation. Kirmuss advertisers it is a record restoration unit, I does do exactly that. Using it is a little extra work but the is what separates it from the others.
