Works above expectation. Kirmuss advertisers it is a record restoration unit, I does do exactly that. Using it is a little extra work but the is what separates it from the others.

I've had this machine for a little over a week now. I will say i believe that it works I've listened to some of the cleaned LP's and they do sound better for the most part. ( still trying to figure out the best process ) I run the cycles as per the instructions and after 3-4 cycles as instructed the surfactant spray and I get the toothpaste material on new and old albums ( 30-40 yrs old ) and it gets more and more apparent with every cycle. Im not sure about this. I dont know how many times I have to repeat the process to get the residue to disappear. I finally give up on the process. I have used up the whole 2oz bottle of sufactant on 10 LP's and the replacement cost is absolutely disgustingly over priced. ($80 for 10 oz bottle I think it was.) so to sum this up it does clean the albums but the labor and cost is unreal, I would probably not have bought this set up had I known what I know now. I can see why it is not offered for the money back guarantee like on the other items sold here.

The machine is well built and designed. I'm not sure about the suggested cleaning process. I got very good result without even using the special cleaning spray which is expensive to reorder.

I had the Audio Desk Sisteme Vinyl Cleaner Pro which is also an ultrasonic cleaner and the Kirmuss Audio matched the results of the more than four times more expensive machine, the difference is that the Audio Desk is an automatic process and the Kirmuss is manual.

I was skeptical about how well this would work. I believed my vinyl was very clean I buy a lot of thrift store and garage sale albums and my methods have worked well so far. I use 2 Spin Cleans 1 to wash and another for rinse so I didn't think the Kirmuss would make a difference in what I hear. I noticed fresh sounds in all of the albums cleaned with ultrasound. Clear cleaner and more engaging. Lots of fun. The ability to clean 3 LP's at a time is the only way to go. Record cleaning can be tedious and it's smart to look for time saving steps. I'm happy with my purchase. Thanks All

In 60 years of cleaning and preserving my vast record collection nothing comes close to the Kirmuss. With each stage of the 'restoring' process you can plainly see the improvements. I would have no problem telling restored records from those I have worked on. If you are diligent and follow the process you get QUIET, QUIET, QUIET background. A number of expensive reissues that were noisy now are perfect. Considered DIY but after this experience I am very glad for my purchase!!!
