“The process with the cleaner unit is a little stop-start and tweaky, but I already knew that before I made the purchase. It seems to work fine, "as advertised". Refills of the cleaning fluid would be expensive but can by avoided by sourcing the non-toxic chemical ingredient from elsewhere.”

“Hi Upscale, I am still a newb at record restoration but the Kirmuss is as advertised. After restoration of a 1957 jazz record that was hard to play because of all the pops now only has minor surface noise. Just amazing. I’m Happy. Ken”

“I have run 3 batches of roughly 20 records through my Kirmuss record reconditioner. It does a very good job but takes 4-7 cycles through to get the desired results. It is thus labor intensive. The Upscale 3 LP motorized top is a must allowing me to process 3 at a time rather than 2. It will not repair physical damage like a scratch and my experience is that it improves but does not eliminate pops and cracks. the big gain in using this machine is the improvement in detail and dynamics in the record. Brings out details in the music that were not heard prior to using. If I have a complaint it is with the accessories. You get a 2oz spray bottle of the surfactant that is enough for 2 batches of 20 records. A refill is available for $85 for a 10 oz bottle! I will not be buying that as the price is ridiculous. I have made my own surfactant spray that works gust as well. Likewise the velvet/carbon fiber brush is poorly made and falls apart. The “opticians cloth” is small 6x9 - should be bigger or multiples. The “rabbit cloth” is fine but gets wet fast so would be good to have several so you could be drying one while using one. All in all I am pleased with the results and have developed my own system to clean and recondition records with the Kirmuss including putting a sticker on the record cover with month and year so I know which of my records have been cleaned and when. I think the price for the machine is fair, I only wish they included more of the accessories rather than selling them at inflated prices. “”
