I have long used a vacuum type vinyl cleaner and thought it worked well, but hated how loud it was. After researching many brands and systems, I eventually pulled the trigger on this because of the positive reviews and price. Having used it for about a month and after cleaning about 30 records, I can say this baby is legit. It cleans way better than my vacuum system, especially after a bit of practice. My records cleaned with this system have almost 0% of issues with pops and noise and has made them sound absolutley incredible. This goes for new albums as well as used ones. People have made comments about the instructions, but I didn't find them difficult to follow. I appreciate that they are super detailed with information. Just take the time to sit down and read them before and during first use. Yes, there are steps to achieving perfectly cleaned (restored) records, but it is what it is. Do more expensive units require less elbow grease than this? Not sure because I refuse to pay that much for those systems. I can tell you that in my experience this mamma jamma does what it says it is going to do for your collection. The sound level while using it is acceptable and not ear damaging like my vacuum system. Its footprint is a little larger than my previous cleaner, but that's not an issue for me. The one experience I had worth mentioning was after a few hours of cleaning, my wrist was sore the next day from holding the cleaning brush and swirling it around the record. I did some research on goat hair brushes and found one online for about $6 that had shorter hairs than the one that came with the unit. I like the shorter hair brush because now I don't have to hold the brush by the bristles since the handle is doing that for me. Now, my wrist isn't sore from cleaning with it and I think it actually cleans the grooves better than the brush it came with. The other modification I am thinking about making is getting a longer hose for the drain pipe because the one that came with it doesn't fully reach my bucket when it is on the floor. This isn't a criticism, just pointing out that if you put this on a higher counter like I have you may want to get a longer hose. I have had a great experience with this cleaning my records and now I am thinking about cleaning other things with it (the manual says this is possible for items like jewelry that ou can suspend in the ultrasonic bath). I hope this helps!

I've used the Kirmuss Ultrasonic to restore records on three separate sessions so far and the results are very impressive. As a caution, the process requires "audience participation" and about 30 minutes to complete the restore process per album. The rate can be improved some by doing several albums on a staggered basis. I average about six albums during a cleaning session. Highlighting those requirements, I recommend the Kirmuss Ultrasonic to anyone who is a serious vinyl/ analog fan. The results are just what I hoped for!

This product works. I have many Time-Life box sets that will keep me busy. Now I need a nice turntable to play the records.

I have now restored 24 records, from old $5.00 flea market buys to near mint newer releases. Regardless of the starting condition the thing i notice most, and is consistent across all my restored records, is the increase in dynamic range and with it details I never heard before. The system and the process are everything promised and nothing short of amazing. Add to that both Kirmuss Audio and Upscale Audio have world class customer service. Honestly beyond anything I've experienced with any product or service. You can buy with confidence knowing the people you are dealing with, up to and including the owners will back you up with knowledge and issue resolution. Great product, great buy!

The difference this machine makes is incredible. It’s a bit more labor intensive than traditional machines or something like the DeGritter, but it’s definitely worth the extra work as it truly does restore dynamic range and treble. I’m very very happy with this purchase!
