Amazing product that I'm so glad I was finally able to track down. It's a very solid, well-built machine that seems like it will last. The cleaner is easy to use, but don't be fooled, it's still a lot of work and time-consuming to clean a record. It's one of those things where you want to set aside a day because it is recommended to not leave the water/solution in the machine overnight. You want to clean as many as you can in a day to be economical or else you'll be buying distilled water by the vat-load. I've had a chance to clean around 8-10 albums now, 1 album twice (my worst one) and the rest just once and the results are very noticeable! An original AC/DC - Back In Black album I have had a lot of "snap, crackle, pop" and it cleaned up to the point where it was completely eliminated. So, so far I am very happy with the results. As I said before you will go through quite a bit of distilled water depending on how many records you plan on cleaning, but distilled water is cheap (0.97 cents for 4L). Also, you will require isopropyl 70% (no additives) and the supplied surfactant which I hope is easy to find when the time comes that I need more.

This is a great product. The price is very reasonable and the results are outstanding if you follow the instructions. I like that I can clean three records at once. It may be a bit of work to get a record properly cleaned, but it's worth the effort. I plan to just take my time and go through my record collection bit by bit.

Too much of a ritual to execute the complete treatment. Good results, though.

The only issue here is the "wishie-washey" comments/replay from Kirmuss as to the Surfactant as far as the white residue (clearly seen with the purchase vs the replacement solution/liquid). I had better results with the included solution/liquid vs the replacement (this makes no sense and I'm afraid I'm going to have to call BS as to the response given for reasons). I followed a blog on-line and was able to get better results from making a solution/liquid from one of the suggestions...

So far I have cleaned about 50 plus records and I must say, this product works as advertised. I am very pleased with the ease of use and set up, as well as the results. Records appear both visually cleaner and sound better. Surface noise has been drastically reduced. The only complaint, and it is not really a complaint, but I have almost gone through all of the provided surfactant. (Already placed an order for more so I am not giving up on this) Also a huge thank you to Upscale audio and their great team.

After running several records, both ancient and newer through the Kurmiss system, the results are nothing less than astonishing! Processed a Dan Hicks and His Hot Licks, "Striking it Rich" record that I purchased in 1976 and have played at least 250 times often in "difficult" environments. The results when played are astounding! For an album that I know by heart, I heard a presence, deeper soundstage, percussive impact, clearer vocals, and instrumental detail that I never knew existed. Although the process is admittedly time consuming, the results are clearly worth it. Thanks to Upscale Audio for making this product available at an attractive price, and for the support as I have built my immensely satisfying system. Have nothing but praise for both the Kurmiss restoration system and Upscale Audio. Bravo!
