“Expensive, time-consuming, truly fussy--and very effective. Persistence is essential--if unsatisfied, try a few more cycles--but eventually I've ended up hugely impressed with almost every LP I've restored so far. The before and after difference can be jaw-dropping. And Charles Kirmuss is the best--he patiently answered all my questions and helped improve my technique. If you can set aside the occasional full day to restore records, this is the system for you.”

“I used to think these types of machines were unnecessary and I had reservations on how safe it was for the vinyl. After spending some time with Charles at the FL Audio Expo I found what makes this system different and superior to many other systems. After using it for a bit and restoring about 60 of my albums so far I can say it works as advertised. It won’t fix physical damage but it gets those grooves clean and clear. Even my more damaged records had a marked improvement. I’ve described for friends that on every record the sound quality improved like upgrading my cartridge would. That’s on top of clearing out the vast majority of static and pops. This however is a laborious task and takes time. It takes a bit of practice to get your system down. It’s like spinning plates lol. Then you get used to determining when the record has been sufficiently restored by the surfactant reaction. Overall 5 stars.”
