“After experimenting with KT-88's, I determined I prefer the EL34 sound in my Primaluna gear. The Mullards are smooth, precise, and warm. Kevin's descriptions of the sonic qualities of his tube stock make selection of new tubes straightforward.”

“Should you wish to include an EL-34 voiced amp in your system, a Mullard EL-34 would be my choice as it sounds to my ears ever so "tubey", I like that. Thanks Upscale. :^)”

“My system is primaluna evo300 int,rel 7ti sub,qutest dac,Kanta 1 speakers,node2i. Improvement over stock primaluna el34. Tighter bass, mids much smoother not harsh. Volume about same. Also replaced 2 12au7 Kevin grade.not certain where improvements came from. I believe mullard el34 gave me more bass and much better soundstage. Rel seemed to disappear.I believe mullard 34 an improvement over stock tubes. Mullard replacements are worth the cost.”

“I have only recently upgraded my system to the amazing stereo imaging and tone of a single point source full range driver per cabinet driven by a 10 watt, single ended, class A tube amp. I could not have imagined anything sounding any better because it was the best I had ever heard. When one of the EL-34 tubes went bad, I spent a week researching them, and was unable to cut through the clutter until I came across Upscale Audio's site. Kevin's straigt talk about the various EL-34 tubes cut through all that clutter and after reading his description of the pros and cons of each tube, I decided on the Mullards with the Cryo treatment. I was pretty sure the Mullards were better than what came standard in the amp. I was not expecting much change in tone or imaging. Boy was I surprised. The clarity, detail, smoothness, and imaging now greatly exceed the original performance of my new amp and speakers. I am in Audio Nirvana.”
