I just received these Mullards, and right after installing and biasing I knew I was going to prefer them to the stock tubes in my new Doge 10 Mk3 integrated amp. Right out of the box they sounded better in every respect than the stock tubes ( which have 300+ hrs). It is awesome that Upscale has already burned them in for 72 hours and am really looking forward to seeing what they sound like after 200 hours and beyond.

compared to the earlier 6550 tubes in my Audio Research vt 100 the Mullard kt-88s sound a little more musical and slightly warm. Looking forward to MBL 126's in my system and how the 88's serve with them. thnx John Cocks

Quick service and help from my sales person. Replaced two of the stock KT88's with these and noticed a difference in the bottom end. Thank you for being there for us!

The Mullards are very balanced and even sounding, no highlighting. A really good tube that sounds smooth, but has plenty of detail.

Really happy with these tubes in my Trace Elliot V6 bass head! I've re-tubed it 3 times & these have sounded the best in my opinion.

I own a set of Cary SLM200 mono block amplifiers and have been exclusively using the Mullard KT88 output tubes for the past six years. I find them to be extremely reliable, stable and sound wonderful. The tube has excellent power, dynamic swing, detail, clarity and tonal balance. As far as burn-in is concerned, I find that it takes about 200 hours to fully break-in.

I am really enjoying the sound of these tubes, my amp sounds richer and more refined. There also seems to be a little more punch at low volume. Great tubes!
