“I own a set of Cary SLM200 mono block amplifiers and have been exclusively using the Mullard KT88 output tubes for the past six years. I find them to be extremely reliable, stable and sound wonderful. The tube has excellent power, dynamic swing, detail, clarity and tonal balance. As far as burn-in is concerned, I find that it takes about 200 hours to fully break-in.”

“I am really enjoying the sound of these tubes, my amp sounds richer and more refined. There also seems to be a little more punch at low volume. Great tubes!”

“My amp definitely sounds better with these tubes than the stock ones. I have a Reisong A-20 integrated amp. The stock tubes sounded pretty good, but with these it is much more refined and holographic. I decided to go with these instead of the Gold Lion because I had a feeling they would be great, and they are!”

“I just re-tubed my McIntosh 2301 monoblock amps (16 KT88's) with the Mullards. Previously I used the Genelec Gold Lion KT88's for about 3600 hrs. The Gold Lions had great "low end" slam and overall sounded very good. Even while breaking in I have noticed that the midrange and the "uppers" are superior to the Gold Lion's sound (less than 300 hrs) and I think I need at least 1000 hrs to evaluate the low end, but it is already sounding pretty damn good!”
