“This is my first foray into the tube amp world and I am happy about that. On Joel's recommendation, based on what I told him of my preference of music, the system included Tannoy minis and REL t9x. All was going superbly until one quiet evening, at a very soft passage of the music, I heard some fuzzy sounds out of the Right speaker. To-date, no one can conclude definitively why that is and this is after much switching of tubes, cables, outlets, disconnecting everything but the speakers. I am confident that there will be a resolution, but we are not there yet. So the sad part is I have not been able to enjoy the system for a week now.”

“I ordered the Evo 100 to power a set of Klipsch LaScalas that I had rebuilt. I was hoping that I would get an improved sound over my old amp and I was not disappointed at all. Along with a Blusound Node the sound and detail is incredible, really couldn't imagine being any happier.”

“The most incredible component in my system, I had some good solid state amps before with a tube preamp front end that had me happy, but I had eyed the PrimaLuna for quite a few years. Finally purchased thanks to expert advice from Chris at Upscale and the improvement to my system is just magical. It wasn’t subtle, it was dramatic. All the holographic presence and soundstage I read about I now experience for myself. Chris was zero pressure, just all knowledge and help to this rather novice audio enthusiast. Thank you Chris, thank you Kevin and all your staff. LOVE my PrimaLuna and only thing I can imagine replacing it with is a higher-end PrimaLuna!”

“Don't let the small size fool you. The EVO 100 is by every account a full-fledged high-end component. Pristine highs, liquid vocals, solid base and excellent build quality. After replacing a well-respected and similarly priced integrated (with class D output) I am back to listening full time. Tubes rule thanks Kevin!”
