This is an upgrade from a Bellari VP 130 MK2 . My son whose musician and a much better ears agrees that the KC Vibe is a “ big improvement “ . However, one complaint is the space between the RCA outputs are ALMOST too far apart. Came really close to returning it because if that this only four stars… But it sounds too good, so I’ll be keeping it. Thanks again to all the folks at Upscale! PS: Sean- love the REL T/5X Subwoofer ty again!

All I can say is WOW. I would recommend you watch Kevin's video on this product. It pretty much says it all. It is so well built and sound so incredible. I had a question about the load settings and I felt I was bugging Ken too much, so I decided to Call Sutherland direct. Mr. Sutherland himself answered the phone and he is the NICEST PERSON. He spent time with me on the phone as I picked his brain. I am a super fan of this company now, not just because their product are out of this world, but they are truly passionate about you the customer. You do not get that these days.... Don't even shop around, just get one of the Sutherland phono preamps and call it a day. Sit back, relax and see how the sound system fades into the background and there is nothing but music bliss..

As a new audio enthusiast, I was using the phonostage built into my integrated amp. I played an album I knew well, listened, enjoyed it a lot, and then switched to the KC Vibe and repeated the process. The difference was obvious the moment the stylus hit the record. I didn’t hear the usual “hiss” coming from my speakers before the music plays. Nothing. Blackness. Then the music played. I immediately noticed a deeper soundstage. A lot deeper. Separation of instruments and voices was incredible. Dynamics. My god, the dynamics. I had no idea how much I was missing! If you’re like me and don’t currently own a stand-alone phonostage, buy one. Buy one today.

This phonostage seems a perfect compliment to the Hana EL cartridge on my VPI traveler turntable. I had been using a Parks Puffin DSP with a Grado Moving iron cartridge, but it was not good with the Moving Coil Hana EL. The KC Vibe has elevated my vinyl experience entirely- detail, power, and soundstage are all greatly improved. I am glad I went with the Vibe instead of a more expensive Sutherland phono stage - while those are surely magnificent- the Vibe gives me the Sutherland sound but fits into my modest- but mighty fine- system perfectly.

This Sutherland KC Vibe MK2 produces excellent sound. I have a much more expensive phono stage and turntable set-up in another room and I am equally satisfied with this system and I am enjoying it immensely. I was surprised by this and very pleased. Thanks go out to Ken at Upscale audio for the excellent advice to purchase this phonostage and as always for the A+ service.
