The online ordering experience was easy and delivery prompt. Even at only have 20 hours on a quad set (with the sound continuing to improve), in my system, this was a huge upgrade from my prior reference Bugle Boys. Expensive, but great value and worth every penny. Would not hesitate to buy again and will recommend to friends.

Purchased a set for my Lyr 2 as I did not have any Telefunken tubes in my inventory. Burned them in over a number of hours. Wonderful smooth sound and very quiet. Great detail. They are such a nice set, I purchased another set to have on hand as I am moving up to a Mjolnir amp and I want options for various HP's. Second set was run to confirm operation and verify sound. Boxed'em up and put in storage. Looking like these are now my goto standards for the coming years.

This tube has been a fantastic find on my Margules pre. It has replaced a Telefunken PCC88 / 7DJ8, which is itself a very bale performer. Coherence, clarity, texture, tonality. For context, the system: Mac Mini (on Uptone JS-2)>twin LHL 10 cable>iFiUSB 3>YFS Silver Data Cable >Uptone Regen (on JS-2)>AQVOX 6" cable >Uptone Regen (on JS-2)>AQVOX 6" cable>Berkeley Alpha USB>Snake River AES/EBU>Metrum Pavane>A Z Absolute>Margules SF 220 Pre>A Z Absolute CU>Margules U280c (SE) Amp>AZ Absolute Speaker cables>Margules Orpheus speakers+Margule Subwoofer. Power conditioning: Audience AR6TSSD; power: Kubala Sosna Elation on AR6; Acoustic Zen Absolutes on Pre- and Amp; Kaplan cables on DAC and Cambridge 851c; and Audio Art statements on JS-2 and Alpha USB.

The TELEFUNKEN E88CC platinum tube is a fantastic tube. This tube has great textured bass, that doesn't muddy the mids. The the mids are sweet, yet so detailed and revealing, while always being ever so musical. The highs/ treble is spot on perfect, no annoying sybilance. The soundstage is detailed and very holographic. I have used the Telefunken E88CC platinum tube in the following amps the lyr 2, Mjolnir 2, Liquid Crimson.

These tubes went into my older but still excellent Counterpoint SA 5.1 preamp. What a glorious upgrade to my system this made, and it is not subtle at all. Even my non-audiophile wife noticed and asked what changed. They were not cheap but totally worth it to me. Wow!

put these tubes in a arc ref 1 preamp. I have horn loaded speakers, can sometimes be on the bright and glaring side. these tubes sounded great right off the bat. Still settling in and sounding better each time I sit for a listen. Fast shipping and great knowledge of products. Thanks for everything

I bought a BAT VK 30 w/in a couple of months of its introduction. Since then, I had the output caps upgraded to " Six Pack " and the power supply to "Super Pack" all done by BAT. I used Cryo treated 6H23 / 6922 Type 3 also from upscale audio. All these were done in a period of about nine years. Recently, I re tubed what is already an excellent preamp using the Telefunken 6922. It's difficult to describe the results of all these "expensive fun" that I had with this preamp over nine years. All I can say is, I now have a preamp that I probably will hold on to for another nine years. It was expensive but I had a lot of fun doing it and the Telefunken 6922 made it all come together. Thank you Upscale.

These tubes have an immense sound stage that even my wife could hear and be astounded by, so I'm not just imagining it. :) In the Lyr they make both my speakers (using as a pre-amp) and headphones (as an amp) sound wonderful. Both Mr Speakers Alpha Primes and HiFiMan HE-560s headphones really light up with these tubes. Right now I'm fighting the urge to buy a backup set so I don't lose that sound. I think I'm going to win by losing that fight.
