I own older Audio Research gear that takes all 6922's. I am in the process of retubing every piece with these Telefunkens from Kevin. Its making a huge difference in listening enjoyment. Give them 10-15 hours break in, and things come nicely into focus. Bought 4, only 5 more to go. Smooth, wide and deep soundstage. Relax and sink into the music!

Never having purchased a NOS tube I was somewhat reluctant to make this purchase. Well after letting it break-in for a couple of days this tube delivered in spades. Am using it in a CJ Classic 2 SE preamp which only requires one 6922. I just ordered another two of these gems and will save them for future use. Outstanding!

What can i say, this tube is the best i have heard. just look at those gold pins and the box is stamped with testing results, i bought platinum grade and when opening the vintage box it was like watching the birth of a new born. I will name him Televonfunken Von Hagen lol. very fast shipping excellent support from Kevin on my preamp, arc ls2b and the best price. Thanks Kevin Von Hagen

I ordered these for Fosgate phono stage and also tried in my amp aConrad Johnson ET250S. Honestly I loved the sound so much I'm ordering a second pair so both make use of this phenomal tube. Solid bass clean highs, never bright with loads of air and imaging just like the real thing. Makes me want tomlisten for hours. Thanks again Kevin!

My initial impression is that these tubes produce a vivid and powerful 3D soundscape. Absolutely silent background. They easily best my matched pairs of Amperex 7308s and 6N1P-EVs in my Decware CSP+ preamp and Taboo III amp. Also superb in my Woo WA2 (no turn on thumping). The only downside (and it could be a biggy for some) is that a pair of these Telefunkens in the driver positions of a Decware CSP+ produced a rather large turn-on thump through the powered subwoofer connected to the CSP+ sub out, for several seconds, even with the volume control fully off. I am using a Philips 5R4GYS Rectifier. I imagine the same thumping would be true through the main speakers if the amp were turned on simultaneously (which I never do. I turn my Taboo III on about 20-30 seconds after the CSP+). This unfortunate turn-on thump does not occur with Russian 6N1P-EV or Amperex 7308 in the driver positions. I'm guessing that the SRPP circuit in the CSP+ requires a more robust 6922 tube. The Telefunkens work just fine in the input stage of the CSP+ and that's where the most improvement is usually heard. If you can stand a few seconds of thumping, three of these Telefunkens in a CSP+ are really something special.

These tubes had a dead quiet background. Great tonal qualities filled out the sounds of the instruments and voices. The tubes still had great resolution and allowed the CD player to accurately reproduce the feel and liveliness of what I was listening to - one of the strengths of this CD player. The full and accurate sound revealed the feel or touch the musician was adding as he played the notes. These tube had a fuller, smoother, and rounder sound than the EAR tubes that were in the player. The player was used and 4 yrs old. Overall, I found the telefunkens to be an big improvement. These tubes did bring down the overall pitch, but this could be due to fuller sound. In this CD player, telefunkens are not bright sounding tubes, but they sound so good, who cares. If you like to hear the full timbre while preserving the musicalness along with great tone, these are excellent tubes.
