“We bought this adhesive to cover the really cheaply made chalkboards currently out of the market. We found that we could erase and wipe off the chalk on the boards like we wanted to. The versachalk adhesive is PERFECT for us. It wipes away clean and we can use our cute chalkboards without issue. We will be buying again.”

Sorry that you're having issues erasing our chalk markers.
Our markers wipe away cleanly from non-porous surfaces with a damp cloth. When writing, do not press the tip too hard on the vinyl sheet. This will cause tiny dents which will trap the ink making it very difficult to erase.

“I bought this product with an idea of setting up a removable chalk board in my college dorm room. I loved the self adhesive chalk board for its versatility. Set up was not too hard, but I wish it came with a tool to smooth it onto the wall (similar to what is used with decals) because air bubbles became a big problem (I used an old credit card to help me). When erasing the board I found that using the tip of the thick markers puts a permanent scratch on the material (maybe make it thicker?). I also found that not all colors erase fully from the board (using water) leaving a washed out image of what used to be. Otherwise the neon colors look great on the board and everyone who sees it thinks its awesome! Thanks for making a cool innovative product
