“I am an avid fisherman and also do some hiking on the side. I bought vessi shoes with the expectation it would keep my feet dry when stepping in some mud next to shore. So far they have been flawless at this. My only gripe is they come off sometimes when going up hills. Besides that they have been flawless.”

“If there is one thing that I dislike, it is going on my morning walk and my socks getting soaked from the dew in the grass. Thanks to Vessi that is no longer a problem! They are indeed Waterproof! My morning walks leave my socks dry. In addition, I found myself doing some work after a storm and did not realize I was standing in a puddle the whole time, and again socks were dry :-) My wife saw how happy I was with mine that I got her a pair for our anniversary.
I found my Vessi's to be comfortable, although I know some people complain about the tightness at the mouth of the show, it was fine for me.

“I was expecting not to have to lace up the shoes as the pictures show a design that suggests that there are no actual laces and I thought they would just be slip-on. All the promo photos make it look like the laces are elastic straps across the top of the shoes. False advertising in my mind and doesn't look quite as good.
Waterproof works well. The design of the tread should be reworked. It holds on to dirt like crazy whereas all my other running shoes have patterns that prevent this from happening. The dirt then dries caked on and will fall all over the floor. This is the worst part of the design.
Also, the soles of the shoes are a bit wide IMHO so it doesn't look as stylish but that is just a personal prefernce.
It is waterproof and breathability is decent. Overall does the job advertised.”

“Absolutely love them. A little pricey for me, but for the water proof material I get it! My only gripe is that the shoes are super squeaky for whatever reason when I first start out with them in the morning. Almost as if they need to be broken in.”
