“I was skeptical at first, but my wife brought a pair home and raved about them. So I bought a pair myself and I absolutely love them. I somewhat work outdoors, so this shoe is beyond ideal for my work and everyday life.”
“I bought these in October and absolutely loved them as soon as I got them. They're comfortable, had no break in time, and look way nicer than any other waterproof shoes by far. I was stepping in puddles up to my ankle and my feet were still perfectly dry at the end of the day and I was thrilled. I use these shoes for disc golf, so I'm often in the woods where there are twigs and small tree cuttings all over. Some time in the last month my right shoe must have torn somewhere because now if I step in a puddle my right foot is always wet. Wearing them in the rain my feet still stay dry but if I'm in any excessive amount of water my right shoe does not hold up the same way the left one does. Overall I'm pretty dissapointed because at $140 I expected them to take a bit more of a beating and last longer than 4 months.”
Hi Kyle,
Thank you for sharing your experience with us! We're sorry that you're experiencing a leak in one of your Vessis. Could you please send us an email at support@vessi.com? We would love to take a look into this for you!
“I like the shoes but as they are a slip on find the laces are not necessary and quite often come undone, yet the shoes would not look well if i took the laces out, even thinking of glueing them so that are permanently tied.”
“The shoe's is great for my security job! Its very light and flexible, great for my long walking tours! Also no more soggy socks!
But I occasionally I do lose balance on ice”
Hi Thomas,
Glad to hear that your Vessis are treating you well during your shifts! We do recommend walking with caution on slippery surfaces as Vessis aren't completely slip-proof. Happy puddle hunting :)
“It's really ossom I live in Montreal where we have alot of snow and no snow goes threw it's really amazing and i'ts very comfortable for every day shoe. My only issue is i'ts a litle hard to put it on! but once it's on you don't want to take it off!!!”
Hi Moshe,
Thank you for sharing your experience! We're so glad that you're enjoying them for the most part.
It’s normal for the ankle opening to be a little firm to start! Over the first few wears of your new shoes you’ll notice that the upper knit and ankle opening will stretch to accommodate and create the perfect shape around your feet. The reason you want this is to make sure no water comes in through the ankle. The only way to ensure this is if you allow the shoe to mold to your ankle shape. In order to do that, you do need them to be tight at first and then only stretch when they’ve learned your specific foot shape. This creates that snug, sock like fit that we are loved for!
Not to worry, after a few more wears the ankle opening will have loosened up to become the perfect fit for your feet. We recommend a shoehorn in the meantime! Glad you love them!
“Love the look , but was on the fence about Vessis until a friend convinced me of the real “waterproofness” so, I ordered some and very happy I did! They are so comfortable and absolutely waterproof!
Even better, my teenager wants to “borrow” them...no chance, he can get his own!”
Hi Chris,
Thank you for taking a chance with us! Glad to hear we've lived up to your expectations. Maybe you should snag a pair for your teenager as well 😉
“The shoes are very comfortable.
The water proofing works very well.
The delivery time was also very good and actually arrived earlier than initially estimated!”
