“I am absolutely in love with these shoes, I live up in kamloops and generally spend A LOT of time outdoors and these shoes have kept my feet so warm! And as dry as a bone too!! I absolutely love these shoes and would honestly wear them as a casual for the rest of my life”
“I admit I was skeptical. But after wearing them a few times I love them. I am a bigger guy so they aren’t the “easiest” shoe to put on but they keep my feet dry. While I am sure I will need to replace the insoles they are fantastic shoes.”
Hey Austin,
Thank you for sharing this with us! We're so sorry to hear about your waterproof leak and would love to take a look at this. Could you kindly send us an email to support@vessi.com about this? Do let us know you reached out via this review and we'd love to take a look!
Hey Adrienne, thanks for sharing your experience with us.
We hear that you like your Vessis but understand you find them difficult to put on. We've implemented a new pull tab on our newest collection and will keep this in mind for our Everyday collections as well.
“Really comfortable and feel almost like slippers. Waterproof is great. My only dislike is that they are not as supportive in the mid section if the foot and feel loose to the point of slippery when I’m walking up/down steep hills or doing any active running etc. Still enjoy them but feel like I can only wear in chill days when I’m not going far.”
Hi Michiah,
Thank you for the honest feedback! It's great to hear that you're enjoying your Vessis for the most part! We will share your thoughts with our Product Team as we're always looking for ways to improve. Happy puddle hunting 😊
Hi Dylan,
Thank you for the feedback we are always looking for ways to improve our shoes. Our insoles are removable if you need to add your own orthotics or any other insoles you prefer however I will take note of the discomfort and pass it along for future reference. 😊
“The shoes are comfortable and wide, which is important for my feet. They really are completely waterproof, which is nice. The only small complaints is they are hard to put on, because they are tight around the ankles. A pull tab at the back would help.”
Hi John,
It’s normal for the ankle opening to be a little firm to start! Over the first few wears of your new shoes you’ll notice that the upper knit and ankle opening will stretch to accommodate and create the perfect shape around your feet. The reason you want this is to make sure no water comes in through the ankle. The only way to ensure this is if you allow the shoe to mold to your ankle shape. In order to do that, you do need them to be tight at first and then only stretch when they’ve learned your specific foot shape.
Hope you'll enjoy wearing them still!
