“I have G/B syndrome which is another word for french polio nerve damage on my feet they are comfortable to wear they keep my feet warm and dry . I will be purchasing another pair of them once you have in stock thank you”
“After seeing an ad online and looking into the Vessi site I decided to give these shoes a try, mostly due to the water proof aspect. When I unboxed them I liked the look of them but when I put them on I wasn't 100% sold on the comfort. The arch support isn't there. After reading up more on the style and reviews I noticed this was mentioned. However, after pulling out their insoles and putting in my own I have found these shoes to be excellent. They're light, comfy, true to size, and I've had no issues getting them on or off. It hasn't rained since I got them so I broke out the hose to check the water proof aspect. Well, they worked fine. No wet socks. The only reason I'm not giving a 5 star is due to the lack of arch support in the shoe but that's the ONLY reason. My next pair, and yes I will be getting another pair, will be the Weekend... when my size is available in the color I want that is.”
Hi Jason, thanks for the awesome review! As a casual/city shoe, Vessis do provide relatively low arch support. This is why we made the insoles removable so you have the option of using your own inserts for more customized fit and comfort. With that said, we're so glad to hear you like your Vessis :) Can't wait to know what other pair you'll add to your collection.
“Just a small irritant. I find the unsterdiness of the heel sometimes laborious when putting on.
Again very small irritant but shoes fit like a glove.”

“Overall a really good shoe. The waterproofing is 100% solid and the construction seems be high quality. I found them just a little uncomfortable for the first couple days but now that they are broken in they feel great. I was worried that the shoes would get stuffy and sweaty which is an issue I've had before with waterproof shoes but so far they seem to be breathable and cool. I am curious to see how they feel during the hot months but so far I am able to wear them all day at work without my feet getting hot which is a plus.
My only complaint, and the only reason its not 5 stars, is the shape of the shoe. The shoes feel wider than most of my other shoes so they look and feel a little bulky. I am more used to wearing slimmer runners with a less prominent sole so they feel kind of big on my feet. The sole is fairly large and squishy which might be great for some people but I prefer a slightly smaller shoe. If I had tried them on in a store before hand I may not have gotten them since they fit quite differently than what I am used to wearing - although after a few days of wearing them now I've gotten more used to them.
Also, they might look like runners but they aren't great for exercising. While they are good for walking and would probably be fine for a light jog I probably wouldn't use them for anything more strenuous. The upper is a stretchy material so they don't offer any lateral support. I wore them to the park to play basketball and any jumping or side to side movements my feet almost popped out of the shoe, but then again they were never advertised as a sports shoe so no points off there, just a heads up.
Overall, it is a great shoe and was exactly what I wanted: a comfortable, every day shoe that will keep my feet dry without needing to wear big boots.”
