Thanks for the 5-star review! It’s normal for the shoes to feel snug at first! Over the first few wears of your new shoes you’ll notice that the upper knit and ankle opening will stretch to accommodate and create the perfect shape around your feet. The reason you want this is to make sure no water comes in through the ankle. The only way to ensure this is if you allow the shoe to mold to your ankle shape. In order to do that, you do need them to be tight at first and then only stretch when they’ve learned your specific foot shape. This creates that snug, sock like fit that we are loved for!
“At first, the elastic neck was tight and uncomfortable around my ankle, but it got much better after I had worn it for a few days. It is waterproof as advertised, and it is very comfy. It is a bit larger than I expected, but its size doesn't impact its aesthetics or functionality. Will probably buy again in another color for myself or as presents to others.”

“First time buyer, engineer by trade, always skeptical of so called breathable, yet waterproof material. Boy, I am impressed. These shoes are light, comfy, breathable, and waterproof as intended. Been stepping right through raincouvers puddles and the feet stayed dry as grandma's vajayjay. Best of all, it's MIT, quality Made in Taiwan, so none of that MIC crap that's been shove down our throats by greedy businesses. Worth every penny and I'm telling this to everyone I see, families, friends, coworkers, pedestrians.
I guess my only complaint would be the elastic around the ankle is a bit tight, but I'd imagine that would loosen up with more use.”
