Vessis have relatively low arch support accommodate as many feet as possible! Our insoles add additional cushion and support while our actual midsole is soft yet durable. But, the insoles are totally removable for your own orthotics if you need to add extra custom support. Thank you!
“A very nice looking shoe. The size chart suggested I go with a 9 but they were enormous. The size 8 was perfect. My biggest gripe is there is no tab on the heel to pull the shoe on. They are a very snug (but comfortable) fit, without a tab I needed a shoe horn to get the shoe on. I notice it is becoming easier to pull them on with time, but some sort of finger hold would certainly make my rating 5 stars.”
We actually have incorporated this with our Weekend collections wherein it already includes a tab at the back so hopefully you'll get to try them. Thank you for your feedback!
“I only wore the shoes twice for a total of 1.5 hours and the black rubber sole pad on the heel came detached. Was very disappointed and concerned about the quality of these shoes however the ability to get a replacement pair was extremely efficient and pain free. I was very grateful for this as I am annoyed by return policies quite often. I will see how they hold out an remain hopeful that this was just a fluke on getting a defective pair and hope that I will get good wear out of these shoes and if so, will order more down the road.”

All Vessis are slip resistant (not slip proof) by way of the 4-way traction, created thanks to the Herringbone pattern on the tread. That being said, some surfaces when slippery will always be more difficult to navigate and in those situations we always advise you to be extra careful.

Appreciate your thoughts! As a casual/city shoe, Vessis do provide relatively low arch support - some people love this whereas some people don't. This is why we made the insoles removable so you have the option of using your own inserts for more customized fit and comfort.
