“Haven’t tested the waterproof tech but man are they comfortable to walk in. Much cuter in person. Only thing I regret is not waiting for the pride edition.”
“My second pair of Vessi shoes and I love the comfort and durability. I got white which I’m not too sure about how best to keep clean - they look a bit dingy after just a few days. But I will find out how to manage that cause they are just too awesome not to!”
Thank you for leaving us a review!
Our white styles do require a little extra TLC, but they can be cleaned easily! You can use a mild baby soap, or water based soap like Dr Bronners, a soft sponge for the knit and soft bristle toothbrush for the sole. Run your shoes under warm water, gently scrub using the toothbrush or sponge, and the dirt should come off! Then rinse well once more. After washing, please let shoes dry in a well ventilated area, away from direct heat. Hope that helps!

“I had previously tried the classic design and found it to be too clunky/big looking for my petite frame and feet. This new design is a much better look for me and I love how comfortable they are! They’re the only white sneakers I dare to buy, and have most certainly kept my feet dry.”
“Love these sneakers and how comfortable they are for walking. Also happy to know if I get caught in the rain, no wet sneakers!!!
I walk almost daily with my dog and while I love the look of white sneakers they may not have been practical for me… lol”
“Response was timely! Only thing with my exchange is that if I had waited a day, Father’s Day deal came out-$20 off first and $40 on second pair. I would have returned and saved a bit of $$$...for my next pair LOL.”
“I normally wear a size 7 in boots and 7-7.5 in sneakers. My length fits those shoes perfectly but I'm a little wider near my toes. I read a number of reviews as this is my first Vessi purchase and went with a 7. I've only worn these a handful of times so far but here are my thoughts.
CONS: Not good for long trail walks or hikes. Irritates the outer area of my feet after 45 mins - 1 hour. Might be alright for those with normal width. My heel pops out a little bit depending on how fast I walk. Make sure you wear sports or non-slip socks to avoid having to fix it every couple of blocks.
PROS: Waterproof! My feet are dry when I go on walks around Raincouver. The Marble White Weekenders have a simple design and still look fresh so far. The cushioning is fantastic, it's plush and very comfortable to wear. I would not say I'm walking on clouds since there is a little bit of weight to it but I love the way it feels regardless.
REMINDERS: Laces are not waterproof so they get noticeably dirty and will require regular cleaning. The pull-tab at the heel is not a loop. I find this tab to be useless since there is no grip allowing you to maintain the pull to allow your feet to slip in. Use a shoe horn or your finger.
OVERALL: Recommended for wet cities like Vancouver. Good for day-to-day activities. And thanks to fun things like genetics, I get sweaty feet so breathability is important to me. I'd say these are SLIGHTLY more breathable than normal lifestyle sneakers. I would not do a work-out in these. I purchased my pair with 20% off and it still seems pricey for a pair of walking shoes but keep in mind that you are paying for the waterproof feature. If you love walking like I do despite the rain, then I say it's worth it.
I hope this helps!”

“I had been looking at Vessi for about 3 months before I bought my first pair and I so glad I got them. They are so comfy. And the waterproof aspect is amazing. I was a bit surprised. I’ve had my weekend sneakers for about a week now and just bought another pair. Can’t wait to find the puddles!!”
“I love the fit and feel of this shoe but wish it was a slimmer design that could more easily pair with dresses/skirts. As it is, the style looks very large and shapeless on your feet, even for a sneaker.
I’ve had Vessi’s before and honestly the water came through after about a year of (very consistent) wear but they’re so comfortable that I don’t care. Just wish they looked as good as they feel!”
