Vulcan Glute Ham Developer/RaiseGHD Every feature that could be wanted in a GHD (Glute Hamstring Developer) has been incorporated into the Vulcan Glute Ham Developer. This piece can accommodate a 300-pound-plus athlete at 6'7" tall. The pads are very wide and offer a split pad design for comfort, as well as tilted pads for optimum muscle recruitment. The roller foot pads are upholstered in the same heavy-duty vinyl composite as the front pads, with heavy-duty steel washers and hex bolts securing them. The individually adjustable rollers provide a variety of working positions, unlike fixed-pad GHDs, ensuring smaller athletes and diverse movements are accommodated. The Vulcan Glute Ham Developer offers a wide range of exercises beyond just two movements, thanks to its adjustable design. Two wide diamond steel foot plates provide extra stability and easy mounting. Adjustable handles accommodate athletes of all sizes and can be removed to perform barbell or rotational exercises. This GHD also comes with wheels for easy mobility and storage, and sturdy band hooks for resistance work. Built like a tank. Assembly seemed daunting at first, looking at the diagram, but it's really just a few big pieces that bolt together pretty intuitively. I don't have mine bolted to the floor but I don't think I need to as it hasn't budged during use.

This is one fine piece of equipment. I did my do diligence researching quality GHD's and decided to take a shot with Vulcan because of my complete satisfaction with previous purchases. If you are on the fence with this, don't be. It's worth every cent, and the free shipping only further increases it's value. The pads are thick and the construction of the frame is very sturdy. I'm 5'11" and 220lbs and feel comfortable and safe while doing reverse hypers and strict abdominal work. My wife loves the step up plate that ensures a safe entry and exit. This is a worth while investment and we are more than satisfied with our purchase.

I'm 6'7" 280 lbs and this GHD has been a great fit for me. It is rock solid and very well built for a great price. I'm very happy with my purchase and wouldn't hesitate to buy it again. Thanks Vulcan!

Vulcan GHD is solid. I was impressed by the quality of the build. Fast shipping. I ordered on a Sunday and it was shipped on Monday and delivered within a week. It did arrive with a bent popper pin, but I emailed the company and had a replacement part within 4 days. Can't beat this GHD for the price. Only disappointment was that it is not manufactured in the United States.

I spent a while researching for an affordable GHD for my home gym. I'm not into CrossFit, but I liked the functional workouts you could perform on a GHD. The Vulcan GHD was much lower in cost than most of the GHDs on the market. It also had great reviews from other customers and appeared to be a solidly built unit. I received my GHD last week and couldn't be happier. First of all, I'm very impressed with the way Vulcan does business. I ordered the unit on a Wednesday, and had it at my house two days later. Assembly took a little less than an hour. It's a bit intimidating at first, because the only assembly directions consist of a one page diagram. However, it did prove to be very straight forward. The unit itself is very well built and very very solid. I'm about 185 lbs. and the thing barely moves when I use it. Highly recommended.

The Vulcan GHD has all the features of most good GHDs and a couple more. The adjustment is much easier with the ankle pad setup sliding on bearing rails. Easy and quick. I also like the adjustable attachments for bands, as we like to use bands rather than weights, especially for back extensions. Great price for a great product.

This is a true GHD! (not just a fancy sit up machine) The comfort to 'pin' your knees against the pad to perform proper Raises is the best I've experienced - especially at this price. After studying the assembly instructions carefully I had no problems assembling the unit in under 1 hour. The quality of this unit is high. Extremely pleased.
