“I finally took a delivery of my first EuroCave cooler after a long 3months wait. I did some research before I ordered and was a bit worried about people complaining about noise but since there're not many other brands I can choose from for this size of cooler, I just ordered it. My initial opinion, it is a solid unit and well built but then I did realize there's a small rattling noise from fan running. It is not too loud but loud enough to hear if you are in the same room. I checked the unit and realized there are 2 fans. One for compressor and one for circulating(?) air. Compressor fan was OK since it only kicks in a few times a day but then problem was the circulating fan. This fan is located on the ceiling of the unit and seems like it runs 24/7. I took a look the fan and it is a low RPM, ball bearing fan mounted with rubber rivets to reduce the noise and I assumed this fan should not make this kind of rattling noise. So I played around with the fan a little and realized the cable comming from housing of the fan was rattling as there is a small gap. So I used a thick double sided tape to secure the cable from the housing and bingo! I am not sure about life expectancy of the fan since it runs 24/7 but it is near silent now and I am very happy. Hope EuroCave see my review and fix this issue. In the mean time, a small piece of 3M double sided tape will fix it. Cheers!”

“Overall, we are very happy with the EuroCave La Première M Wine Cellar. It was easy to set-up and use, is quiet even in cooling mode, has plenty of space for our modest collection and is holding the set temperature fine. Being in the desert we have to add water as directed to keep humidity above 50% but this is easy. We are only giving it a 4 for two reasons (would have given 4.5 if that was an option). To check on humidity and make temperature adjustments, you have to open glass door to use the control. This might have been a style choice. More troublesome is that the wooden shelves are not finished on the bottom and are quite rough, making it easy to catch a splinter and harder to slide the shelves. This seems to be a cost cutting measure that one would not expect of a cabinet being billed as fine furniture.”

“The compressor is louder than I expected for a higher end product. I was hoping it would be quieter in my office space as there is less ambient noise, and it now dominates the room. The baseline shelving is fine, but I quickly realized the MDS shelving upgrade would be necessary since my collection has so many different sized bottles.”

“I am loving this cellar as my first EuroCave. As a new student of wine, (formal WSET student) and longtime wine lover, I had ben eying these systems for years and couldn't be happier with the temp and humidity stability! Now time to collect!”

“Happy with the purchase. Arranging shipping was somewhat painful as they only give 1-2 days advance. Actual delivery was quick and the guys took ample care to not damage the unit or your home. The unit itself is prestine and has so far been great. I heard some potential mold issue down the road so I am taking precautions not to let humidity go through the roof.”

“Delivered right to the spot where I plugged it in. Into my second month now. It has been maintaining temperature and humidity as expected. I would like to know more about, and have links to replacement parts, such as the filter that is installed in the back, or optional racks for this specific model. This web site is not clear enough which ones are compatible, and the items are hard to find. That's the main reason I'm not giving this review 5 stars.”
