“I received my Euro Cave about a month ago, the delivery men were helpful and arranged as I wanted it. After letting it sit for a few days we plugged it in and stocked it. It was a lot of fun as you can imagine! So far the unit has been great! FYI-I would not put it in a kitchen/living area as it is little noisy as can be expected...it's a HUGE fridge! We have it in our basement and it doesn't bother us one bit. Every time I go down to check on my wine babies it is at a reasonable temperature. I am pleased with my purchase and would absolutely purchase another one when we run out of room in this one ;)”

“All of us have made purchases that of which we classified as " one of the best things I've ever purchased", this is one of mine! From top to bottom this cellar exudes quality! Everything that it is supposed to do it does with uncompromising elegance. I have filled it and look forward to exceeding it's capacity and having to get another or larger version!!!”

“Very nice looking and happy this one is a few inches wider and taller than my other 2 Dometic Silent Cellars. I especially like the new MDS adjustable rolling shelves. A much better way to place the bottles than just in an open shelf. The bottles don't swim around, they stay in place and are nicely padded. I mainly have Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in my cellars, along with quite a few Syrahs, Cabs, Brunellos, and few other varietals rounding out the mix and I find that they all fit nicely without having to adjust the height between shelves. No scraped labels from being too close together. Plus I get 11 bottles to a shelf, which is great in comparison to the Dometics.The temp difference from the bottom shelf to the top shelf is around a 12 degree swing (52-64). That's about what my other 2 cellars are like as well and this one is taller by a few inches.The only problem I've had in the first few weeks of ownership was that I had three shelves fall in the back on one side, with 11 bottles on them! In order to recover from that you have to take all the bottles off and remove the shelf above it and below it to fix the problem. In one instance it scratched the inside surface of the Europecave as it fell. It's caused by the shelf not being as wide as it should be so it falls off the track at the back. This is adjustable by loosening the screw on the back side of each shelf and spreading out the rail from the shelf - making them wider. You do this with a phillips head screwdriver. They go in and roll like they are just fine, but you put 11 bottles on there and try them a few days in a row and if there's a problem you will certainly find the shelves that need the adjustment - and it's no fun to have that happen. Best to put in the shelf, put weight on it with your arm, and watch the back rollers as you pull them out and push them back in again. With a flashlight looking underneath the shelf at the drawer slides, you will see (and feel) if it's not sitting right because it will come down on one side or feel difficult and stiff to roll after a few attempts. This normally tells you that the shelf is not wide enough to stay in place during the entire in and out movement.Now here's hoping this lovely Eurocave will be a reliable unit for decades. If it turns out to be well made, I would consider getting another and selling one of my Dometics because this Eurocave holds more bottles and has nicer shelves.”

“I've had the unit 3+ months. It's well made, the temp usually seems to stay in a very consistent 2-3 degree range. I really like the adjustable shelving system (MDS). They slide & remove easily as needed.My wines are mainly in Bordeaux style bottle and a lot are taller and as a result the bottles per shelf is is reduced from a potential 12 to 10-11 per shelf. I only have a few Pinot style bottles (which are wider, but not as tall) - I suspect they'd also be 10 per shelf. The fixed shelf storage is both great and has it's own limits. Whereas you can stack a LOT of bottles, removing them can be painstaking. If a bottle is in the back of a shelf and on the bottom of two or three stacked rows, you might have to remove 6-8 bottles to get it out. Two potential solutions: 1) carefully load the fixed shelf with bottles on the bottom you won't remove for a long time, or with bulk storage - like a case purchase. Or 2) replaced the fixed shelf with rolling pull out shelves. This will definitely reduce storage quite a bit - but will also ease access to all bottles. To their credit the sales staff HIGHLY suggested that I NOT order the extra shelves until after I've loaded the refrigertor and used it in its sold configuration. I'm glad they did because even after 3 months I'm not sure if I want to lose some bottle capacity over the added convenience.This is a very good product. I'm very happy I purchased it. I looked at many of these products and my research paid off. It's whisper quiet, very well made and a great buy. I saw some other brands - esp. The high end ones with big name manufacturers are a little fancier but the costs are much higher in cost per bottle. I don't think they compare for to the Eurocave in value.”

“Build and appearance is of good quality but the shelves are another story. It seems it is made to hold European bottles best. California bottles are longer and don't fit as well thus taking up more room on each shelf. This should be recognized when figuring amount of bottles it can hold. If you have 160 bottles half of which is California vintage buy one with at least 200 or more bottle capacity.”
