“I previously left a review that was never posted. Hmm. My delivery took a month. Mostly because the delivery company WE selected didn't want to deliver a fridge up 5 stairs. I'm serious. They needed 3 weeks to get internal approval to send the 3 men they felt were necessary to deliver the fridge. They showed up with 2. They were going to leave, but one of us volunteered to help so that we could finally get our fridge. It was not appropraite that we had to help install the fridge. Once we finally got it, it appeared great. Well made. Seemed large. But once we started to load it with wine...the design is poor. The shelves are too small for the double stacking they suggest and they are way bigger than 1 bottle. Either add an inch to fit 2 bottles, or remove an inch and add shelves. Even if you could double stack bottles, they will easily fall out the back as you open the drawer, possibly breaking on the row below. We crammed 158 bottles into the fridge. That is the max capacity. We are very disappointed with this $3000 purchase. I do not recommend it.”

“We just received our wine cellar after about one month. The delay was mostly due to the delivery company, which did not want to bring the cellar up more than 5 steps and they needed extra time to get permission to send 3 men. Well, on the day of the delivery they only sent 2 men. They were going to delay the delivery further, but one of us helped them install. That was inappropriate. Especially since they delayed the delivery in order to send 3 men. The first wine I put in the cellar was a series of Hawkes cabs. The bottles are a little off standard, but nothing crazy. I can squeeze 11 bottles on a shelf. Not the 24 displayed in the manual. The manual does indicate that capacity may be reduced by 20-25% if the bottles are not standard. But I'm getting less than half the indicated capacity. That stinks. Otherwise, the cellar appears to be well made and of high quality. I'll update this review over time.”

“After owning this unit for about 3 1/2 years, it failed with an unrepairable cooling leak. Since it was outside of the initial warranty period, I contacted WE and was disappointed to hear that they considered this unit to be an inferior product vs another of their offerings. They offered me the opportunity to purchase a unit that they considered much better, but with no goodwill discount. I had a similiar experience with a cooler from Allavino. They recognized that their product should have lasted longer and even though it was outside the initial warranty. Accordingly, they offered me a new, replacement unit at a substantial discount. That is what I consider quality customer service. As such, I have no further interest in owning WE products.”

“We love the wine cabinet. It is in the living space in our condo and is nice to look at, has a good amount of storage and is very quiet to operate. Very happy with the product.”

“Most wine refrigerators don’t hold nearly as many bottles as advertised since they are all sized for Bordeaux bottles. The great thing about this wine refrigerator is the wide spacing between shelves, which allows you to stack 2-3 levels. Even though the WE salesperson who assisted me advised that the actual capacity might be less, it seems like this will comfortably hold 300 bottles. Also love that it can handle large format bottles. Very sturdy construction and shelves roll very easily. Interior lights are sufficiently bright.”
