We have only had our 18-Bottle Slimline Cooler for a couple weeks but so far it’s exactly what we were looking for. Looks good in our space. There is a slight hum but doesn’t bother us. We don’t care about the dual temperature setting - using the same temperature for both zone - so can’t speak to that.

This is the perfect wine cooler for a narrow space. I love the flexibility of the being able to control the two zones with different temperatures. You can either have all the bottles horizontal or use the optional rack to have standing bottles as shown in the photo. I was a little concerned about the noise level when I first plugged it in but once the interior and its contents reached the correct temperature it is very quiet.

Very happy with Wine Enthusiast. They replaced a one year old cooler with a new unit. I did have the extended warranty and this folks did nothing to help. Not sure this unit is sturdy enough to last. Unit can be noisy and the first unit had temp error (like reading 99 degrees and fan running all the time when actually is was 30 degrees in that zone). Next time I will buy one with a refrigeration unit.

This is my second Wine Enthusiast Cooler, an updated model of my previous one. As it first cooled down, it was a bit noisy, however since then, it is amazingly quiet and holds the upper and lower temperatures quite well. Very satisfied.

I'll give it an "adequate." It wasn't until encountering a problem with temperature setting that several things came up. First is that, at least for this unit, Wine Enthusiast finds it "acceptable" that the real temperature could be plus-or-minus five degrees different from what you set and what is shown. So, if your preferred setting for your wine is 58 and it shows 58, it may actually be anywhere from 53 to 63. Mine is 2-3 over the setting, so I have to keep that in mind now. Second is that there can be settings that can't be attained, but show up either one degree over or under what you want. I can set mine for either 55 or 57, but not 56. 56 will never show. They think it may have somethig to do with the software converting its native celsius to farenheit. Lastly, forget trying to store a slightly oversized bottle. The racks can only handle a standard diameter.

This 18 bottle unit is much quieter than the other 18 bottle units BUT, it is not able to function properly as a dual zone unit. Not sure if it’s the rubber not tight enough or the plastic shelf can’t protect from temps. Either way it’s not a dual zone machine like it’s advertised
