I bought this slimline to replace an older (about 4yrs) unit. I thought my older one had failed after a power failure, but nope, after some cleaning still working great. On this newer model, I like the door controls in the higher position. The old one had them mid ways up the door. What I learned after plugging in the new model is it’s cooling fans are very noisy/loud until it reached temperature and all bottles were cooled. This could be hours long. The fans vary in speed and after temperature is reached, they get quiet like the old one. Take a bottle out or add one, they speed up and get noisy/loud for a little bit and then quiet. The older slim line does not do this and is quiet all the time. I don’t like the change, but that’s what makes it noisy and loud as other reviewer claim. Otherwise a nice unit that fits a special space where I need one.

I owned the previous version of this model in my condo for 12 years before it died. The previous version was almost silent; you had to get your ear close to it to hear it. This new version has a high pitched buzz that is noticeably louder. I'm getting used to it, but it's not as quiet as the previous model and can be heard from 15 ft away when no TV or music is on. One other small complaint- I set both zones to 65° & this cooler stays at ~56° in both zones. Otherwise, all good. I especially like how an opened wine bottle can be stored upright in this model. I'm told if I had bought a wine cooler with a compressor it would last longer, but the reviews & my personal experience tells me that would be too loud for my small condo.

Love everything about the cooler especially the dual zone cooling. BUT the LED display lights do not go off. They “dim” only a fraction. The unit faces seating and because of the height of the unit, is directly in the line of site for people sitting across from it. It becomes distracting and then bothersome. The LED panel should go completely off unless you touch it.

Works, but the two zones don’t maintain separate temperatures. Both zones end up having the lower temperature most of the time

Incredibly pleased! the small footprint is great in our apartment and holds more than enough wine for day-day with some extra space for those bottles being stored for future special occasions. The dual temp zones is also very useful.
