Works great, keeps temperatures constant without taking up much space. Great customer service, the first one we received was defective and they sent another one right out.

The wine cooler is exceptional except for the high noise level of the cooling unit.

Website states the product is quiet. Far from it! Louder than my refrigerator which is very annoying.

So, I ordered this knowing that reviewers said it was loud. I bought this because we had a thermoelectric model that couldn't keep the cold side cold enough during the winter (when the house is heated). I've had this 5 days and I think I know most everything about it. So, it is loud. You probably don't want this in your living space. When the compressor turn on, it is louder than my subzero refrigerator. That's okay, because I can stick it in my basement. Contributing to the noise is the vibration of shelves that have either no bottles, or just one bottle. The compressor vibrates the whole machine and causes the loose shelves to vibrate. This could be mitigated by making the shelves more firmly set and also in providing sound dampening on the compressors. In addition to the noise, the cabinet is shallow. Some tall bottles won't fit in the case. I find this particularly frustrating since it is a variant of not building wine cellars that can handle pinot noir bottles at the same count as bordeaux bottles. This isn't hard, just design for the larger bottle. In the end, I'll keep this, but only because I can stick it in the basement. You shouldn't buy it unless you can do the same.

This is my second wine cooler purchase from Wine Enthusiast. This one is the compressor type. It is well-designed and made. I have had it now several weeks and it is operating sufficiently. The displayed LED temperatures for the dual zones do not match the actual inside-the-cooler temperatures (I have fridge/freezer thermometers in the 2 zones). They are off by about 4-6 degrees. I called tech support and they said a variance of that amount is normal. Just be aware of that issue if you are picky about your storage temperatures.

This is a nice small wine refrigerator. The temperature zones are working as expected. It is a little louder than I had hoped. Not awful, just not super quiet. It is light enough, to easily move. Works for my needs.
