Bought this cooler a few months ago; former cooler (different one) died! It has been working great only problem was of my own making. I continued to purchase wines and ran out of cooler room. To rectify the situation, I just purchased another one. I figure you can't go wrong with a twin!

This unit fit our needs for size and keeps a consistent temperature. It cycles on every 3-4 minutes but it isn’t too noisy. The vertical storage space is very handy for open bottles. For the price point, it greatly exceeded our expectations.

Nice little wine cooler. I bought it because of the upright bottle feature, which I used most every day. But its very difficult to store an open bottle with a cork in it due to space limitation. Space is also limited as some of the bottles it was supposed to hold are not full length wine bottles, and others must be stored behind bottles. Also exterior temperature light with is too bright and cannot be dimmed.

Pros: ★☆☆☆☆ It holds the targeted temp well, so it gets a star for that, but this is also a Con, and I'll explain why below. ★★☆☆☆ It looks great, so it gets a star for that ★★★☆☆ It holds ~about~ 20-22 bottles in practice since there's no 'standard' bottle shape or size. Cons: - It doesn't store non-bordeaux bottles very well. - It doesn't store 1L bottles at all (don't even think about a magnum). ★★☆☆☆ Now for the biggest drawback. For which it loses a star. There are two ways to manage temperature. One is having a very-well designed and well-insulated refrigerator that keeps a compressor's duty time low (how often it operates and for how long)... the other is what this fridge does. That's having the compressor cycle about every two to three minutes for about two to three minutes. The compressor in this unit is EXTREMELY noisy between it's kick (when it 'kicks' on), general operating db level, and the fridge-shaking rattle when it shuts down; there are a number of reasons why the operating db may be high, but one item seems to be that WE used pretty cheap anti-vibration pads for the compressor to rest on. To make a long story short, it is not a great unit to have in an apartment. You may love the crap out of this thing if you never have to listen to it and it doesn't have to sit in your living room. But if you have to spend any meaningful time around it, it is going to drive you bananas. I live in New York and the temperature of the apartment generally remains pretty consistent around 72-75 degrees, so it's not like the fridge actually has to work all that hard.
