“The wine cooler has worked out OK. The complaint is the noise and the compressor cycles on and off regularly. I have both sides set on the appropriate temperatures. Mid 60s for reds and mid 40s for whites. The cooler maintains those temps. The compressor comes on often and is noisy.”

“Unit looks fantastic and works great. Had read other reviews about noise and didn't think it would be too bad. Boy was I wrong. It's not so loud per say, but the unit cycles every 2 minutes or so for 30 seconds. Loud click on, loud click off. Sometimes a very loud buzzing. This is when unit is stable. If a door is opened for long, it runs longer, then settles into the cycling. Door seals intact and no leakage, just annoying cycling. Have a 3 year warranty so if it stops cooling, then it will get replaced. Until then, it will hide in a closed door room.”

“The cooler works fine, it’s just VERY loud! I called customer service/tech support, basically was told it’s not too loud. Wouldn’t recommend it unless it’s in a basement. Now it’s not only loud, but when the motor kicks on - continuously- it make a high pitch noise for a second or two. Don’t, just don’t.”

“I have called and emailed on several occasions complaining of odd noises coming from the unit. Fan often runs on and off every few seconds, also a loud crackling noise on occasion that sounds like a bug zapper. Customer service keeps you on hold forever. Problem Still has not been resolved. No one has returned my calls or answered my my emails. Having buyers remorse.”

“Unit is very nice looking and a good addition to the room. Capacity is good as well. That said, the compressor cycles for about 30 seconds every 2 to 3 minutes when the doors are closed and undisturbed. If you open a door for a long period, the compressor runs normally. Just seems to cycle very often, Temperatures hold, but I suspect the unit will eventually quit due to frequent on / off. Glad I got the extended warranty. Still a nice unit, just hope it lasts.”
