“Difficult to store bottles with larger diameter than the standard bottle. Another 1" on width and height would have made this unit absolutely spot on. Unit can handle just about any bottle height.”

“This is a decent, entry-level wine fridge for someone who wants to store several bottles of wine. Nothing more, nothing less. It was exactly what I thought I would be getting and it's price is its best feature.I use the fridge in the dining room. It's best to keep it in a room that you don't often use because it can be quite loud, despite the claims of "virtually silent cooling technology." Don't fret when you first turn it on, the sound of the tornado is just from the initial cooling down and it will eventually dissipate. However, unless I keep my house downright cold, this fridge makes a lot of noise (70 decibels). While wine is supposed to be stored somewhere between about 53 and 57 degrees, I have to keep the fridge on 60 to keep the noise at a comfortable level for me (and my house is about 75 degrees). Perhaps noise level is a personal preference; if you put it in a room with a door, or have a high tolerance for sound, the noise may be a non-factor for you. Regarding the shelving, some of the reviewers seemed to express surprise that the shelving was as close together as it was and that oversized or oddly-shaped bottles wouldn't fit. To be fair, the product description makes it pretty clear that the shelves are narrow and that not all bottles will fit, so I'm not sure where the confusion comes from. However, from an engineering standpoint, it seems that it would have been easy enough to add 4-6 inches to the height of the fridge, spread evenly across all shelves, to accommodate larger bottles, like pinots, or to add a few inches for a few oversized-bottle shelves. However, my understanding is that most wine fridges have narrow shelving, and, like with this model, the only thing you can do is remove a shelf. Because this fridge has two zones, there are effectively two bottom shelves you can remove, which should allow you to stack or otherwise (carefully) arrange about five or six oversized bottles in each space (thereby decreasing the bottle storage by about two or three for each shelf you remove). I've only had the fridge for about a month, so it may be too early to tell on some points. But, overall, it appears to be an average fridge at a good price, which would merit 3.5 stars, but not 4, in my book. A decent choice for an entry-level fridge.”

“DEFINITELY QUIET AND KEEPS WINE AT SET TEMPERATURES.WAS PLACED IN FREE STANDING BAR WITH ADEQUEATE VENTILATION AROUND AND BELOW. SO FAR WORKING GREAT BUT ONLY HAVE FOR ABOUT 1 MONTH.”

“We originally purchased this on 11/26/11. It was a new refrigerator they were offering and we had to wait until December when they shipped out the first ones. Love the unit, it is the perfect size for us. It looks nice and is fairly quiet. You have 18 bottle shelving in red and white compartments both. It could have been a little wider to accommodate the larger bottles such as champagne. You can still fit them if you take out the bottom shelf and just lay them on the bottom of the unit in that section. Now it is March of 2012 and we are on our 3rd unit. They seem to have had a problem with the temperature board on the first shipment. My first 2 units had the same problem with the electronics. I waited to call back until 2ruary hoping they would have a new shipment in and they would have fixed the problem. Success with the wait. I had to wait for my 3rd unit to be shipped until they got new ones in stock. We have now had the 3rd unit for approx 2 weeks and so far no problem. The problem with the electronics board on the first 2 showed up immediately. I will add comments in the future should anything arise. I do love this unit, the size, the look, the way it works. It keeps the temperature perfect for both red and white in each zone.”
