I learnt more from the first lesson than I have in 6 months of teaching myself from YouTube videos! I would wholeheartedly recommend this series to anyone wanting to learn to make bread - baking is about the dough!

I have now completed 4 of the BBC Maestro courses and this is by far the best course. The short introduction, all done in chapter one, was an excellent length. Leaving every other chapter full of content about bread making. The presenter's character, style and pace were very good and the natural approach made it a dream to follow. Lessons learnt in this course, too many to list, with multiple tips and knowledge gained in every chapter. A must-watch for and bread maker.

How would you rate the course based on skills & knowledge learnt?
Thought me plenty of new things despite making my own bread for over 20 years. Great to be taught by someone who genuinely loves bread. Just a joy to follow this course, makes me happy.

How would you rate the course based on skills & knowledge learnt?
I finally have improved my sourdough making skills after many an attempt which ended up being thrown out of the window. Well structured course with a passionate, knowledgable and patient teacher. I pretended to be in a warm country kitchen in France a lot, not in a cold space somewhere in the North of England.
