“'Writing Thrillers' was my first BBC Maestro course and I was very impressed. Harlan Coben was informative and knew how to explain his points well. A couple parts that were most useful to me included meeting his Editor and his Agent. Until then, I had no idea what happened with a completed manuscript, and hearing the process beyond the writing journey inspired me to complete my own work-in-progress. Writing had originally been a hobby, but now I'd like to take it more seriously and evolve that into a career! Exciting!”

“As an aspiring author and fan of Harlan Coben, I thought it would a lot of fun to take his course. It was a fun course but also the perfect course for someone like me. Harlan knows exactly who he is as writer and doesn't deviate from the authenticity he's built his career on. Such authenticity drives the course in way that shows the student the do's/dont's of the buiness and also encourages the writer's individual voice!
I appreciate the direct way the material was presented, after all, the work must be put in! And yet, there wasn't a moment where I didn't feel like HC really does want to see my name on a book one day!
