“The best part of the BBC Maestro courses collection is that you can go to a class, and then another, compare, and maybe evn listen into a third class! For me, it was incredibly helpful to get a feel for different writing techniques and frames of mind: I actually found out that I strangely function like Ken Follett, love straight to the point prose like Lee Childs, but with an Isabel Allende style... I am incredibly inspired now, and it feels like I could actually write! So glad this was my birthday gift!!”

“Isabel Allende is superb with her real life teachings. She makes writing fiction and non-fiction book length works seem acheivable, and gives us a look inside her own creative practice and imagination. She is human, just like us -- even though I've always though of her almost as a mystical creature. She is authentic and writes from a mortal, raw, emotional place that we alll share. During each module I needed to pause so I could go on a writing jag because I was so inspired. I love the way the course is organized, too. I will watch it again and know I will keep gleening more gems.”
