“I have owned my Fly12 Sport for about three weeks now and have used it on multiple rides. Setup was simple and video quality is good. There is limited editing capability for videos but it is easy to do (I am a Mac user) and effective for what is intended. The Fly12 Sport provides me with peace of mind. I am often doing training rides alone and have experienced at least one close call on every ride. The Fly12 Sport won't prevent any incidents but it will provide me the evidence I need to persue action if necessary. My one issue is that the Fly12 attachment will not fit an aero cockpit. I have had to jury-rig a setup using some old Garmin O-rings; not ideal but it works. Cycliq - you might want to look into this.

“The camera itself is excellent, particularly the HDR mode which provides a clear image regardless of light conditions. The battery life is also very good, as is the light brightness and selection of patterns.
The handlebar mount, whilst strongly constructed, flexes when twisting the camera on / off due to soft rubber used in the packing strip. This causes the mount to shift sideways, and after a few days it slips off the rubber packing strip, which is too narrow to prevent this. I had to overcome this by discarding the rubber packing strip included with the handlebar mount, and using self amalgamating tape to create a wider, firmer packing layer.
Additionally, the machine screws for the handlebar mount have begun to rust on the heads already, which is unsightly, and may make them difficult to remove / adjust in the future. I recommend to replace the provided machine screws with stainless steel machine screws to avoid this.”

before I bought this camera. It was recommended to me by a friend, I found it easy to use and although I didn’t think I needed another light, the flashing light seems to draw attention to me, I feel safer as I now know that if I get injured I can get recompense and proof for my business insurance. I’m not a technical person but I’ve worked it out whilst using it, I bought an adapter for my computer and I was blown away with the picture quality. It wasn’t cheap but what is your life worth. I can’t wait to get some of the car drivers I come across dealt with by the police. I have had so much interaction with drivers and feel now I can get my own back.”
“Tried it for the first time last week, very good, had a close call on my first ride and reported her straight away, the footage is very clear and playback is very good also, remember if you buy one buy a iPhone card reader or you can’t see your footage, but still a great product.”
“Works as intended, light is not as bright as I would like but still does the job. Camera has worked great, image stabilization is decent. Needed something for my rides as the drivers in my area like to turn in front of cyclists and blow through stop signs. IF something happens I will have some sort of video record of the incident at least.”
