“So far so good, I wish the on/off button was a bit different as well as the charging door and I am still testing the best settings to balance between video quality & battery life.
I used to use a GoPro Hero Session 4 & 5, and this is a much better option for my needs.”
“I have used the 6 for many years, and waited for this updated 12. Unfortunately, I was hoping for a brighter, lighter, 12 with a better battery.
I only got lighter, so I decided to give up and go with other options. I went with a GoPro but the battery was terrible. Researched different options and the Fly 12 was the best option out there. I thought I could just use it for the camera and use a separate light for dark roads. To my surprise, the 300 lumins light is much brighter than I expected. In fact, I ditched my light and I only use 12 with no extra light. I ride through pitch black roads with no street lights and have no issues. But I ride with organic flashing and get about 5 hours of ride time. I could get more time if I changed the settings to regular flashing, but I like organic better.”
