Good battery life. Image quality is fantastic. Sleek design, feel safer riding alone knowing I have it.

So much better than a GoPro! I use my Fly12 every day. I swap it between road bike and cargo bike. Switching its orientation (over or under bars) is just a press & hold of a button, and I only need to charge it once or twice a week, and that's with using the light also. With a GoPro, I'd have to take two spare batteries for a long ride and then remember to change them and all for footage I'm probably not going to watch. The light is good enough for all situations where you don't need a "to see" light, 700lm is just not enough for dark country lanes at 6am in January, but in April, it's perfect and I have one less thing to mount on my bars and to charge. Fly12 is just so 'set & forget'. The way it stores footage means finding the incident is easy. Yes, you need to remove the SD card and use a little attachment, but that's no thing. 2160p @ 24fps is good enough to relive edge of your seat descents, to read a number plate at distance and to see if that car really was indicating or not. It is not as high-res and the stabilisation isn't as good as GoPro, but sometimes you need to pick one thing to be good at and do that well, this achieves that as a cycle 'dashcam'. My GoPro is gathering dust now and I'll probably sell it. Since using this for two months, I have submitted loads of police reports to nail bad drivers, including one just this weekend where a cyclist in front of me was hit by a turning driver. I'm nearly always successful in securing some sort of sanction. It's become a hobby. I need to say that I had a glitch with my first one, but Cycliq replaced it. Having to pay the return postage to Australia is a pain, but isn't quite enough to rate it down a star

The unit is significantly smaller than the previous version of Fly12. Tested the image quality which is also much better than the previous version. Have yet to test the unit under wet conditions.

I love the cameras themselves - there is no other product like them: reasonably-high-quality video, with long battery life, continuous-loop recording, good lighting for safety, and easy mounting on a bike. My only hesitation is the build quality: I'm on my 2nd rear camera, and 3rd front camera. It's always the battery. The batteries are non-replaceable, even if you're good with a soldering iron. So... don't ever let it discharge fully (set a monthly alarm if you don't bike off-season), nor ever use any memory card other than what it came with (there is a troubleshooting note how some cards draw extra current, which is what probably zapped my last front camera). I keep buying them b/c there's nothing else in the market like them.

It's Fantastic. Knowing that you have a camera recording feels safer if something happens.
