“Feels very solid so far. Have done about 12 hours worth of riding, all in very cold & wet UK winter conditions.
The lens seems to cope well with spray. I've been experimenting with a couple of the resolutions and frame rates, all pick up passing vehicles reg plates well so far. Oncoming vehicles harder to discern, so will try 4K next. Battery life excellent.
Good mounts provided and a vibrant 3rd party community making custom mounts for aero bars and out front adapters too.
Would be nice to have a user forum to discuss technical items such as res vs frame rates for better vehicle capture.”
“Easy to use and compact. Had to buy a separate mount to pair with Wahoo Bolt as cable positioning prevented mounting under the handlebar stem; looks a bit chunky in this configuration.
Picture is very clear. Haven't yet used Strava overlay feature or the lights.”
“I have run it using 1080 at 60fps which was good. This week I used it on a club run at 2k at 30fps which was even better so I made a short film of our ride for social media and it has had over 3,000 views with positive feed back
This weekend I will use it on our club ride again at 4k. I’ll make a short video of the ride again for Facebook cycling groups. The image quality and freeze frame clarity is excellent. Not as good as my GoPro 10 but my Fly 12 Sport is definitely the best bike cam out there. Several people I know are now getting one due to the quality and ease of use”
“Battery life is a bit short. User instructions leave a lot to be desired. There needs to be a bit more depth to describe functions about video capture and size of clips. Also some links just take you around in circles and dont provide what I expect them to provide”
