“Whilst I was relieved that Cyclic was able to find the replacement mounting bracket, this was only after I was initially told they didn’t have any and I asked them to “please look again”. What I also asked for and was initially told “we don’t have any” is the rubber straps that go with the bracket. It would be surprised if an ASX listed company didn’t have these in stock somewhere? If someone could please have a look, pay $2 for postage, put them in an envelope and send them to me it would be appreciated. I have bought 2 of the Fly6 cameras over the years so feel this would be fair.”
“This is my 2nd Fly6 GEN 3. My first set died after more than 2 years of usage. When this unit came, the SD card was defective and I couldn't connect the Fly6 to the app. I switched the old SD card and it worked. Emailed Cycliq and after a few emails of clarification, they mailed out a new SD card, which is now the way now.”
“The replacement part had no glass cover just the minimum part that is no good for me just 20 pounds down the drain so yeah very disappointed in the product”
“Ordered my Fly6 GEN 3 on Sep 7th 2023. Went for a ride on Jan 3rd 2024 and it rained. Got home to find the unit had no lights on and was very warm to the to the touch. I guess the rain killed it. Reched out to Cycliq for support via their website and Facebook but they have been unresponsive. Now have a very expensive paperweight :(”
