“I've had all models of the fly 6 whilst this one is the smallest I'm disappointed in the battery life. I would like a model like the earlier version with much longer battery life. It's losing the competitive advantage of long battery life. Hopefully the ports being on the side will reduce water egress.”
“The size is not accurate and the opinions on the official website do not help to ensure it; I had to return the jacket for a size down (with a new shipping fee), and it still doesn't fit properly - it should have a more fitted cut and the bottom elastic should hold more so it doesn't move from the waist. The result is that it is misaligned and creates a candle effect, because air accumulates inside it.
In such an expensive technical product, the fit should be perfect; it seems unbelievable that a brand like Pedal Mafia doesn't actually produce a better result.
The best thing, why I bought the product, is its visibility with the reflective fabric, but I think it is NOT worth buying without being able to try it first.
They should also offer the web in other languages, English is not the only language spoken in the world, fortunately.”
“Whilst I was relieved that Cyclic was able to find the replacement mounting bracket, this was only after I was initially told they didn’t have any and I asked them to “please look again”. What I also asked for and was initially told “we don’t have any” is the rubber straps that go with the bracket. It would be surprised if an ASX listed company didn’t have these in stock somewhere? If someone could please have a look, pay $2 for postage, put them in an envelope and send them to me it would be appreciated. I have bought 2 of the Fly6 cameras over the years so feel this would be fair.”
“This is my 2nd Fly6 GEN 3. My first set died after more than 2 years of usage. When this unit came, the SD card was defective and I couldn't connect the Fly6 to the app. I switched the old SD card and it worked. Emailed Cycliq and after a few emails of clarification, they mailed out a new SD card, which is now the way now.”
