The charge door keeps opening when I drop off a curb or even experience rough bumpy bits on standard roads. If this should happen in the rain, water and grit would be hurled at it. Not a good proposition. It beeps faintly when the door is open, but of course you have to stop and dismount to fix it.

The mount seems ok, but dissapointing that it does not actually come with the Cycliq propriety 8th turn mount to allow me to connect my Fly12.

Too heavy, heavier than previous versions and heavier than front 12

Really disappointed in the duo mount. When your camera is mounted under your Garmin it starts to interfere with the GPS signal. If I would have known this from the beginning I would not have bought one.

I was asked by Cycliq to write a review, so I guess this is not written to _them_, much as I would like to better understand what is happening with it. This is my third product. I have a Fly 12, and had a Fly 6 (CE, I guess) that died, after some years of service. This one behaves more like the 12, but it does some things that don't make sense. With the 12, when i disconnect from the phone app, it shuts off. With this, when I connect, it goes full on, starts recording, and does not shut off when I disconnect. I have to manually shut it off. Also, if I open the phone app, and just select the 12, the 6 pro also connects and turns full on, even though I did not select it. I have to manually turn it off. When I finish a bike ride, and turn the 12 off, it beeps to indicate battery level. The 6 pro does not. It has a window that shows battery level, but this is being used on a recumbent, and where it sits, it is hard to see the window. It is tiny and hard to see anyway, for old man eyes. My rides are generally not more than an hour and a half, so battery life is not an issue. A ride of that length doesn't run 6 pro down much at all. Maybe 10-20%? On the phone, the videos look really good. Downloaded, (maximum download resolution - there is a setting) they look about the same as the 12, but I think I have the resolution set the same, so that makes sense. I live in N. California, USA, a dry climate. I do not ride in the rain. This camera has a side door with a gasket, like the 12, not a flap, as on its predecessor, so I expect water protection to be improved. Mount was initially so stiff I was afraid of breaking something, but it seems to be getting better with use. So it seems to work OK, but has some quirks. This form seems to allow for video uploads, but it won't accept them. Here is a link, but this will be a youtube downgrade. https://youtu.be/3aieorGxVKA?si=7NQNiN85L_AW9Tjv

The Duo Mount will work with my round handle bar commuter bike, but not on my gravel bike. The alternative mount that would work with zip ties does not give enough clearance for a zip tie. Since I bought the Cycliq because I was hit by a careless driver who originally yielded to me but then turned too quickly while riding my gravel bike, I’m really disappointed that I won’t be able to use the camera on my gravel bike. Considering the cost of the Cycliq, I’m surprised they didn’t put more consideration into their mounts. Also, the mount for the rear view camera points distinctly downward. Since it has a wide angle lens, it will collect data on cars that pass too closely but I’d like a longer range. The actual camera might be good but the mounts are really disappointing.

The camera works fine bit the battery life only lasts a few hours unless one charges it up before riding out. The holding "quick release" mounting device for the seat post lacks solid stability; Themounting device for a bike rack is far superior but only my tourer has a bike rack. So, not over entgusiastic until they chane the mounting device which is way ocerpriced.
